Turé, Ahmed Seku: (Sékou Touré)

► (1922-84) Político guineano, uno de los impulsores del panafricanismo. En 1957 fundó la Unión General de Trabajadores del África Negra y fue elegido jefe del Gobierno semiautónomo. En 1958 decidió la independencia de su país, del cual fue nombrado presidente, elección confirmada en 1961. Fue reelegido en 1968, 1974 y 1982.
